We will be at WDW for DD's third birthday in November. Do any of you have tips on things you've done to make Disney birthdays special? We're already planning to have lunch at the castle that day, and of course get her a button. What else have/would you do?

You can order a personalized birthday cake for $15-$20 in chocolate or vanilla - I would say that it would give about 6 people a fair sized piece of cake. They can also box it for you if everyone is too full. You need to order 48 hours in advance.

They also have a Chocolate Slipper Dessert that my friend is getting for her daughter on April 25 - it looks just like Cinderella's slipper and apparently they write Happy Birthday on the place since it will not fit on the slipper. I have seen pictures and it looks amazing - the perfect idea for a princess having lunch in the castle. It also needs to be ordered 48 hours in advance.

My son had his 3rd birthday at Disney 1 1/2 years ago - it was so neat to celebrate his birthday - the Barbershop Quartet sang Happy Birthday to him when we ran into them on Main Street - it was a highlight. He was also wished Happy Birthday numerous times throughout the day while wearing his Happy Birthday Button.
