Thinking way ahead but are there ever any discounts on late Nov/early Dec?

As the title says I am thinking far ahead in my planning. I would quite like to do a short 'Christmas' trip later this year but only if I can get a really good price (we paid £228 for 2 nights at Santa Fe in Jan).

Are there likely to be any discounts which cover this period - I'm thinking last week of November or first week December probably.

I know nothing is guaranteed but historically have there been offers?

you are highly unlikely to get as good a price in November/December that you can get for January or February (the first 2-3 months of the year are the cheapest of the low seasons at DLP every year).

Yes, they do offers for November/December though. When you can price up for November/December (the dates you're looking for) see what the full price is, and then consider what kind of offer DLP would need to come out with (ie 50% off etc) to bring it down to what you're used to paying, and then consider how likely it is that they will offer 50% off for the lower-end hotels (ie very unlikely, but not unheard of).

I figured I wouldn't get as good a price as jan but if there is the possibility of some discount then I will keep an eye out :)

The boyfriend is not keen on DLP but if I could get a reasonably low price he might be convinced :)

We went late November last year to the Disneyland hotel after getting a 50% offer through voyage prive. All the hotels had offers but didn't notice what for the others. If you sign up with them they will email you what offers they have and what's coming up on a regular basis.

The previous year we went mid December again to the Disneyland hotel, booked directly with disney, think I was stay 1 night get 1 night free.

Thanks for this info. I'm hoping to go anytime in the Christmas period before Christmas day and was wondering what kind of discounts they have.

Is it realistic to think I could do 2nights/3days in HNY for about £400/500 for two adults?

yes, I'd say that was possible. I went offsite with APs in November, but I kept checking the onsite prices as I was going along - I was looking for Santa Fe, 3 nights 4 days, first week of Xmas season 2011. The cheapest I saw it go down to was £323 for one adult, one child (paying for her as she didn't qualify for a free kids place). This was allegedly a 30% off offer.

Hiya,

We went late November 2010 and paid £562.80 for 3 adults, one child and an infant for 5 nights 6 days at Hotel Cheyenne. I think this was a really great price, i'm not sure what the discount was but i think it must have been around 30%, we booked this in late July (so around 4 months before we went), so offers do pop up, you just have to watch out for them.

We're going again this year at the same time for DH 30th birthday, we're aiming for DL hotel or NY so i'm watching daily for offers etc and will book as soon as one pops up.

Good luck finding the right deal for you! :thumbsup2

I have signed up with voyage prive so hopefully if anything comes up I will see it :)

See, if I could get this price I would seriously consider my trip :)
