Is anyone thinking about valentines yet? DS is a preschooler, but since we homeschool instead of making them for the class he makes them for cousins, friends, etc.

Last year he wanted a snail, so I made a snail body and used a sucker for the shell. This year he has no clue.

Anyone helping little ones or completely making valentines this year?

Morgan's in 5th grade this year. 5th grade here is middle school, so I don't know what they do, if anything :(. I have a source to ask, so I will. If we don't make them for classmates, we'll end up making one for Sophie anyway :)

Isn't it funny how schools have changed...I was not in middle school until I was in 7th grade. That first year of MS is hard.

I have never made the kids' valentines before...but I talked to the youngest and he says yeah. We are going to use some designs from Create a Critter I think. The other two are older and don't do it anymore. I did offer for my DD to make some stuff from Rock Princess for her closest friends though. She will probably do that I think.

A couple of years ago Family Fun did something where they wrapped a box of candy to look like an I-pod and used mini reese's cups to be the ear buds. That paired with rock princess would be really cute.

That is cute!!!!!! I think I may give it a whirl!!! Thanks so much!!!

I thought they were really cute!

We were talking about it last night and Jacka looked through my carts (is that bad that he knows to look through the Cricut?!) He chose...squirrels. :lmao: At least I have Give A Hoot with the kissing squirrels.

LOL My little guy chose a ladybug for the girls and a dinosaur for the boys...of course we can't make it easy on me and do all one!!!!

I doubt Megan's class will do them either, her teacher is not big on parties! I never made them, she always wanted to use the store ones before!

Too cute! I may do these for DD, 5th grade. Thanks for posting it.

Last year, DD and I made creatures from Paisley and attached them to a box of conversation hearts. For the boys, I made dinosaurs from the Dinosaur tracks cart and attached them to a bag of goodies. (Grades Pre-K and 1)

This year my boys are in a new school, so they want the same thing as last year. :confused3

DD and I will make hers together, but I'll make the boys' on my own. They will sign them.

I haven't started them yet, but it is next on my crafting to do list.
