I definetely want to eat at Cindy's for breakfast when we go in October, however I hate the idea of taking away time from MK. We will be going to MK on an EMH morning, so we can't eat there before the park opens. (We will be only able to go to MK one day while we are there)

I was thinking of trying to get the first seating at Cindy's on a non EMH morning, and then hoping over to DHS for the day.

If we did this, what time do you think we would get over to DHS?

How would you recommend we get to DHS?

I still can't decide if it is worth the time involved to eat at Cindy's on a day we plan on spending in another park.

Was this confusing? :confused3 Ughhhh, decisions, decisions....

Take the monorail to the transportation center and pick up a bus to DHS there...shouldn't take too long!

We went from MK to DHS last summer. Was the biggest pain in the rear trip of our visit and it did take a while. I didn't time it, but we way underestimated the time and were more than fashionably late for our Fantasmic Dinner ADR there. We were still served and given our Fantasmic seating passes.

Not say you shouldn't do it, but its not a quick trip.

For another Princess breakfast option you can try Norway in EPCOT. It doesn't seem to make sense for a ressie at the Castle based on your post and the stress I'm reading in it. Truthfully, although the setting is unique, the breakfast food is geared toward heartier appetites and with young kids, they'd probably enjoy the faster and more interactive pace at, say, Chef Mickey's--a quick monorail ride to/from MK at any time. We didn't do CRT until a few trips in and no regrets.:cool1: Waking up VERY early for a meal was not something our DS and DD wanted to do when they were small (and even now).

Thanks for your answers. I know that DH really wants to eat at the castle... yes, I said it, DH wants to! :thumbsup2 So I will plan it in for the day at MK and take it easier on the day we go to DHS.

CRT has lunch and dinner too, and if it is your MK Day a relaxing sit down meal in the Castle may be a welcome retreat. :thumbsup2

I'm in the same boat here. I have ressie for April 10th at 8:15 which is an early morning hour. I was so excited to get CRT that I overlooked that I would miss out on the extra hour. But you know, we've never eatin in the Castle, so we will just go with the flow and come back later in the week to hit rides we may miss.
