Thinking of Premium Pkg Add on

I have been going to WDW solo for the last 6 times at a Value Resort and occassionally I would go when the free DDP was offered. This year I'm thinking of splurging and staying a moderate resort and trying out the Premium Pkg.

Has anyone tried the Premium Pkg and which moderate resort would give the best value for the money when using the Premium Pkg?

I would go deluxe if doing the premium pkg add on - WL or AKL.

that say either POR or CSR might work.

We did in 2006 and it was great! My suggestion is to choose a deluxe hotel where you have better access to the package features such as boat rental, parasailing, golf, etc. But that's JMO. We loved the package and would do it again if we could afford it.

My wife and I did the Premium Plan a few years back and loved it. We stayed at CSR and got to use the water mice every day. The amount of food got to be totally overwhelming, but we loved being able to take advantage of all of the recreational opportunities. We rented boats at the resort and at the Contemporary. We also went parasailing and horseback riding. The included tours were great, plus we did the Segway tour and the Dolphin tour.
We got fantastic seats at Cirque as well.

The PP was well worth it, we just wouldn't worry about having to get our money's worth by eating so much if we did it again.

I got the best deal from AAA. I was able to get a Savanah View at AKL for 10 days with the premium plan begining Aug 29th. I saved over $450 over the rack rate. The 20% off code could not be combined with the premium plan. So now I got the best of all worlds. Visiting WDW, I can eat at any signature restaurant with 1 TS credit, Recreation package, Golf Lessons, La Nouba tickets, going on the various WDW tours.

Our trip was short and we wanted as much time in the parks as possible. Did not care about the extras the resort offered. However, everything was so beautiful and wonderful it would be wonderful to go again with time to enjoy everything else.
