Thinking of planning a trip in May...

I just bought yesterday and it came very unexpectedly...I had figured it would happen in early 2007....I was on the waitlist for both BCV and WLV. So suddenly I have 175 points at WLV to bank now and have 175 more points in March 07 available. The best time for a family trip this year would be in May of this year....What are my chances of getting a 1 Bedroom at either BCV, WLV or BWV for the week of May 12th....The 13th is Mother's Day.
I can find out from MS on Monday when I am in the system but am so anxious I was wondering what anyone thought (though as I write this I am not sure I am at the 7 month window yet for BCV and BWV - is there some caculator to figure out the day to book?

Welcome Home!!

If you purchased thru DVC directly, you are already in the system and can call today to make a reservation - at any DVC resort - thru June 23 (with a checkout date of June 24). You can reserve at your home resort for any date thru October 23.

If you purchased a resale and just closed, you will usually be in the system within a week.

I just called last week, trying to book a studio at BCV for 5/7-11...the week before you are talking about. There were no studios, but there were one-bedrooms available. It's a relatively popular time because of Flower & Garden and Mother's Day, but you just have to call and see.

The DVC Planner is an essential tool which gives you all the points values, banking deadlines, booking windows, etc, etc, etc. The software has WAY too many great features to even try to list here. All of the deadline/window calculations are adjusted for holidays and other times MS is not open, which makes things really easy. Don't do DVC without it!
