:wave2: It seems that we are preferring the looks/feel of the Beach Club Villas. However, when we go to the resale's, there doesn't appear to be many BCV, is that because of the desirable about the resort? We noticing a lot of OKW though, and couple BWV, and VWL. Are they are to come by, just thorough the site of TimeShare Resales? Any ideas?
And if we choose to buy elsewhere, is it going to be extra hard to get a room at BCV, since the popularity of it? Or no more than any other resort?

The BCV (along with the VWL) is one of the smallest DVC resorts. That and the fact that it is only a couple of years old, it has SAB and its great location are the reasons it's hard to find a resale.

The best thing to do is to contact the major resellers ahead of time. Don't wait for a resale to appear. Call them or e-mail each of them now and let then know exactly what you are looking for. If they get it in, they will call you. Most of the really good contracts never make it on to the web sites.

If you want the BCV, wait and find a BCV contract. As more people become members, the BCV will only grow more desireable and it will get harder and harder to get a reservation there once you are inside the 7 month window.

Good luck.

As everyone here always says: buy where you want to stay most of the time. It's nice to have the flexability to stay at other resorts, but at the smaller resorts and at busier times you will want the 11 month window to be sure to get what you want.

BCV resales are a little harder to find, but they are out there if you are willing to wait. I'm in the process of buying two BCV contracts right now. I put out calls to all of the resale brokers right at the end of April. It took about 3 weeks to find the contracts that met my needs.

It's worth waiting for what you really want. Be patient and good luck!
