We are thinking of going to WDW in Florida in November 08

Mainly so my youngest can swim with the dolphins!

What is the weather like and queues?

Any other tips would be great

Please help as we want to make this a great trip

Thanks

We have been in August, October and December and I would say out of the three October was the best mix of crowds and weather.

End of august crowds were low, but the weather was very wet (didn't mind the heat).

December crowds up until 23rd were low, but weather was cold. Holiday atmosphere did go someway to make up for the weather though :)

Ive been 3 times in November and its a great time to go! The weather is still hot but not unbearably so. Its very very quiet at the parks until Thanksgiving when it is packed for the weekend, the rest of the time tho the wait times are usually walk ons or 5 minutes. The Christmas decs go up approx the 14th and the parks look lovely when they are decorated. :goodvibes

We're onto our third November trip this year and we love it! Weather is still hot enough to swim - crowds are low (as long as you avoid thanksgiving). I think the first two and half weeks of November are the best times.

We went early Novmber one year and it was lovely. Not too hot but not in the least bit cold. ONly downfall was the end of Hurricane mitch where it rained solid for 2 days at the end.

I went in early November last year and I have to say that queue-wise it was the best trip I've had so far. The longest queue we had was about 15 mins and we managed to get round IOA by lunchtime, even when we went on rides more than once. The weather was ok too, warm enough for shorts, etc but not too hot or cold. Only drawback was the fact it gets dark in the early evening and the parks operate on off-season hours (and we found a fair few rides were having rehabs at this time too.)

Am going in early December this year and hope to have similar queuing times lol!!

January - low crowds but variable weather
February - weather even more dodgy
March - spring break so crowded
April - as above
May - a bit quieter and you get the flower show at Epcot
June - really hot
July - sweltering
August - not bad at end of month but getting a bit of a history for hurricanes
September - low crowds but often wet
October - great fun for Halloween parties
November - terrific as long as you avoid Thanksgiving
December - another great month with Christmas festivities and low crowds in first half of the month.

Have only been once in november but prefer october.Gets dark early in november and we had a few cold days.Mind you the water park was empty that day. ;)

We're going 11th - 26th november, took alot of peoples comments on board for this date and also got an excellent deal on flights!

Am looking forward to being there for Thanksgiving and also to see all the christmas decs.
