I absolutely love mine, but unless you buy bulk, there's no point. I shop at Costco and I also buy meat's on sale at the grocery stores. The bags are an expense but they can be washed and re-used. I also buy big blocks of cheese and split them in threes and they no longer grow "fuzzies". One of the good things is that you can re-seal original chip bags and crackers to keep them fresh. My son is 11 and he re-seals his snacks in the bags they come in. I buy huge bags of remaine lettuce and split them in threes, and the lettuces stay fresher much longer. You will have quite a bit more of prep time when you bring home the groceries, but IMO it's well worth it. I bought mine at Costco, but I can't remember how much it was.
