Ok Im thinking of downgrading to basic dining from the deluxe.. Ok so now can you trade in any cs meals for any 2 credit dinners?

CS can only be used as CS but TS can be used as CS. Basically if you want to waste money using TS for CS they'll let you but they aren't gonna let you try and get over on them.:rotfl:

Nope. Absolutely not. You can't even trade CS meals for one-credit TS meals; there's no way you'd be able to apply any number of CS credits to a Signature meal.

Except for the cost factor, is there really a good reason to downgrade to basic dp?

The only reason for downgrading Is I keep reading too much food and a waste of park time.. but I think we are going to just stick to the Deluxe I hate to take away the princess Breakfasts being this is our 1st time and all I want it to be memerable...

Please don't listen to the naysayers, they are always so negetive about deluxe and basic dp. With proper planning, the deluxe plan is a wonderful choice. Doing all the wonderful 2 credit dinners/bfsts and another 1 credit TS each day works out well. We did it in April, loved it, and will never go back to the basic plan. The CS meals take up just as much park time as TS, when you consider the amt of time you spend ordering food, finding a table, going back for condiments, feeding everyone at the table, etc, etc....and TS are nice and calm, food is brought to the table, after you sit down and comfortably wait at a table you did not have to fight for, much less stress and same amount of time spent away from parks as CS-and the food is much better at TS. Oh, the refillable mugs are a great deal, and 2 snacks a day maintain the hydration and blood sugar levels needed for the parks. What is not to love about the deluxe dp?

I've been going back and forth about this as well. We are signed up for the deluxe plan not, but I keep thinking about all that food!

DH and I really want to try a bunch of the different restaurants available, so that makes the plan worth it.
