Thinking of doing Concierge next year.

We've always stayed in deluxe resorts but never in Concierge - and I have to admitt it sounds appealing. Besides the lounge what other benefits does is offer? Also which is better Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian, or Beach Club?

Well, if you'd like certain PSs secured for your stay, Concierge could book them for you.

If you have any special events to celebrate while you're staying there- Concierge could help you plan a 'surprise'.

And if you're lucky, and your DH forgets to pack his belt (for holding up his dress pants at V & A) someone in Concierge might lend him the belt from HIS pants!!!

desiab added a great link, BambiTamby is full of great information when it comes to Disney and fun to talk to... There have been a few reservations I was unable to get before the trip that they secured with no problem, they have helps with geting thing placed in the room before I arrive for special things like Birthdays, etc... The lounge is a BIG plus, getting back to the resort after a long day of parks.. having a drink or a glass of wine... very nice and great before a good dinner.

It's hard not to go with concierge for me, it just makes things alot easier for me all around.

I've stayed Concierge at the BWI, Poly and GF Main Lodge. I love staying Con. because of the food offerings! I know its crazy, and I'm sure the amount more I spent on the upgrade doesn't equal the cost of food, but it more than equals the convenience! I'm a picky eater...and I eat often. So its nice always knowing I could run back to the resort and grab some fruit or carbs . I get tired of hot dogs and park dining quick! Sometimes you just want a PB&J.

We used the staff several times to book the harder things, but mostly we just liked the ameminties. Out of all that I've done, the Poly and GF rank among the best in food. The BWI was a distant third. I hated it. Blech!

Everyone should do it once if they can afford it!
