Thinking of DLR Jan 4-10. Crowds?

Might surprise the kids with a DLR trip if we are all healthy that week. We have the week of Mon Jan 4 thru Sun Jan 10th off, which few days would be better? Are weekdays still less crowded than weekends, even in the winter? Or do most local schools still have that whole week off too?

We were there Thurs-Fri of that week this year. During the day the parks were pretty good with low crowd levels, though do expect some ride closures (due to refurbishments), shorter hours, and a lighter entertainment schedule. However, things got a bit crazy on Friday night with many local teenagers and such flooding the place en masse.
