rosiejo said:That's exactly what we're doing in November - from Bristol. We were trying to do Disney on a shoe string hence no stop over in NYC - also it's November so we figured it could be cold and didn't want to pack two sets of clothes.
Will you post back after your trip and let us know how the brief stop over was - and how easy it was to transfer? We usually fly non stop from Gatwick to International![]()
So sorry - I just saw your post now!!
I just saw your counter and you leave 10 days after us so we'll still be in Orlando when you arrive!! We'll be there from 24th October to 9th November. However, if I feel I could give you any helpful tips I can get online in WDW and send you a message to let you know! I'm hoping it all goes well.
We'll have a long day of travelling - leaving home at 4am to check in at Shannon at 6am for a 9am flight! We will finally arrive in Orlando at 4.30 US time, 9.30 our time! I think it's doable though - hard to know what temperament our 2 year old will have by then but our boys will be fine I'm sure!
We've left 3 hours between flight times which sounds excessive but we'll need time to freshen up and maybe even change clothes and get something to eat in between.
We booked our flights 4 weeks ago and they've gone up quite a bit since. Woohoo!! Keep a close eye on the flights online though - they've already changed our itinerary - just 20 minutes earlier for our NY to MCO flight so I'm glad I didn't cut it too fine!!
I know what you mean about "a shoe string"! It's frightening how the money side of it adds up - *gulp* - still though, I can't wait!!
