im thinking of becoming a member of dvc
is it better to get the member ship through disney or through some where else like the timeshare store

There is a lot of info that you need to know before buying DVC, it has rules, policies, availability issues and other things that would be beneficial to know before you buy.

much cheaper through the timeshare store (resale).

much faster through disney. buying direct also gives you the opportunity to pay high interest charges to disney and make trades for disney cruises or hotels that cost a lot of pts.
