Being the
AbD fan that I am, I can't think of anything better! Our first trip (Viva Italia) was to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Three of my clients this year are celebrating anniversaries also, and are going without their children.
I think I'd go for something really romantic (Flavors of France, Viva Italia, Roma and la Costa Bella) and also book one of the adult-only trips if it fits in with your schedule. However, if you have kids joining you, it's still a great way to celebrate!
I'd also (and again, just my opinion) try to book in the fall if at all possible, since airfare is significantly less.
Speaking of airfare (and this should be another thread), is everyone else also finding air to Europe to be ridiculous? The one great thing about AbD at least is that there's very little out-of-pocket expenses once you get to your destination, so the impact of the Euro isn't quite as bad!
