Thinking of Booking August Cruise

Hello Everyone, hope you all are staying safe during these times. I am thinking of booking a 7 Night Eastern Caribbean on the Fantasy in August but im torn if I should or not with all that is going on. Opinions?

The Caribbean will be hot and steamy in August. Not to mention hurricane season. We're all anxious to cruise again but if the virus is under control by August, my first choice for a cruise would be Alaska. Cooler weather and no hurricanes.

We had an August cruise booked and cancelled it last week. Too much uncertainty at the moment. I figure there will be plenty of opportunities to book it again as we get closer and have a better idea what the world looks like!

Purchase pre existent, cancel for Any reason insurance if you re going to book.

We have a cruise booked for late July. Booked it when the dates first opened. I'm not expecting it to sail.

DCL emailed us today saying they have extended the final payment date, so those who are on the fence about going have a longer time to cancel without penalty. We are booked concierge and are paid in full already. I'm thinking they will cancel it. We will be refunded in full if they do.

I have a April cruise I expect to be canceled. I have a September cruise that I will probably cancel before the PIF date if I don’t see a glimmer of hope by June. Everyday the news gets worse. Probably won’t cruise again until a vaccine is in place.

Ditto! We canceled last week as well. I’m in no hurry to cruise, even if this virus would clear up in the next several months. Right now we have another booked for next May which I’m trying to get my hopes up too much. We’ll get back again some day...

There is a big question of if any of the island nations will allow docking. This includes the Bahamas, which would also take out CC.

We have a mid May cruise which I fully expect to be cancelled by dcl. We have 3 cruises on the dream in early September which I am not cancelling, but just watching what happens. I have my doubts about those though

We had a September cruise and cancelled it. also have the Hawaii cruise and waiting for dcl to cancel it to get a full cash refund, we may book a November cruise depending how things progress
