Thinking about splitting stay between WL & Beach Club or Boardwalk?

My wife and I are going to WDW for 10 nights in August/September and are thinking about splitting our stay between the Wilderness Lodge (which we love) and either the Beach Club or the Boardwalk Inn (or possibly a 1-bedroom Villa, if available). Which would you stay at, and why?

Beach Club Villas - 1 Bedroom. This is a brand new resort so that is always nice. As far as location between the BC and BW you are basically a 5 minute walk between either one, so that doesn't make a difference, love the location of both, there is a 5 minute walk to Epcot from the Beach Club and about a 20 minute walk or boat ride to MGM.

The Beach Club has Stormalong Bay which is the best and the biggest pool on WDW property. The Beach Club in my opinion is a little more quiet then the Boardwalk, but still within a 5 minute walk to the Boardwalk if you want to walk over there at night. If you don't want to go over there you can just sit on the beach in the evening and look accross the lake at the lights - its breathtaking. Other option would be to walk over to illuminations in the evening and walk the 5 minute walk back.

As you can tell, Beach Club, and now the Beach Club Villlas is my favorite resort.

Definitely the BC or BCV for all the reasons Terry listed. It's a fantastic resort!

The Boardwalk Inn. Why??? Stay there and you will know why.

I am a DVC member at BWV and I absolutely LOVE BWV, but I would try out BCV if you can get a reservation. Both resorts are in basically the same wonderful and very convenient location but BCV will be brand new and you will have use of Stormalong Bay pool which is fantastic! The only thing I am a littel concerned about with BCV is it looks like a lot of the villas do not have the greatest of views and all have smaller than usual balconys.
