Thinking about Ohanas

I am considering eating dinner at Ohanas one night. We will be at Animal Kingdom. How long will it take to get to Ohanas and is it worth it? I will be with my DH, and DS 10 and DS 3.

We love Ohana's. I think that the bus trip from AK to Poly takes about 15 to 20 minutes, the bus usually stops at CR first. If you're driving your own car it will take less tiime.

We are huge O'Hana fans. We've been going since DD was 3, she's 8 now and still considers it one of her favorite places. The food is great, plus there are fun things for the kids to do and the views can be really great too. Enjoy.

I just checked the menu on Deb's site....Is it true that the 24.99 doesn't include dessert??? Holy cow! I would like to eat there on our next trip..........

We love Ohana's!!! However, if you are not big meat eaters, you might be disappointed.

Desserts are not included, but they do give you fresh pineapple with caramel dipping sauce at the end of your meal.

Does anyone know what time I should make a PS at 'Ohanas if I want to be able to watch the MK fireworks from the restaurant? (In June) Also, any recommendation on table location requests (we have a DD age 11 and DS age 7). Thanks so much!

Could you please ytell me a bit about ohanas? I am setting ps's this week and I am trying to figure out oif we want to do ohanas or the spirit of aloha - we are staying at the Contemporary

O'Hana's is soooooo worth it. I love ALL of the food but my favorite part is the pineapple and caramel at the end. It is my dessert. We always go there our first night so we can go again sometime during the week. I don't know about the time you should go for the fireworks show but I don't think you can request where you want to sit. You just take what is open. It is always super crowded.

Ohanas is great...its one of the only restaurants we are repeating from last year (that and marrakesh).....

they have pineapple and caramel at the end that is included...that is more than enuff for dessert...especially after all the food you get throughout the meal
