We are just starting to think about a Nov 2012 trip to FW. It would be the weekend before and the week of Thanksgiving. Do you think it will not be crowded until Thanksgiving and after?? Or is the week after Thanksgiving better? We were thinking the week of because we get Thanksgiving and Black Friday off so we will not have to take as much vacation!

Also we will have a huge 5th wheel with 3 slides and a class C ( I think??) motorhome no slides....will a prefered site be big enough for the 5th wheel?? You have to have prefered to get the cable hook up right?? We will have 6 adults and 4 kids between the two campers. Which loop is best?? We might also have a small dog (chihuahua) but I think we might leave him at home since we might not be at the camper too much to let him out...might as well leave him at home with other family!

Would you still get keys to the world but just no tickets on them if I buy tickets at undercover tourist or something??

I'm sure I will have more questions in the future. I am really excited about camping at FW. I have never camped there but have been to WDW 5 times. My husbands family (who are coming with us) camped there a long time ago in 1985...so its been a while! LOL!

Thanks!

Think about actually making the reservations a year in advance for Thanksgiving weekend or time in Dec. or you will be playing mix and match with reservations to try and get what you want. You can always cancel and get your deposit back

This year the rates start to go up Nov 18, that's when the busy week starts. Come the Monday after Thanksgiving it will be a lot slower. :thumbsup2

All sites have cable now.

Preferred will be big enough for you. 100, 200 and 300 are preferred. 300 is a pet loop, 100 and 200 are not designated pet loops.

You always get a KTTW card for ID and to charge.

Have a great time planning, it's half the fun.
