Where is/what pool is used?
How far away from the cabin is the pool?

We went last year and enjoyed it but here are things to know...

1. Can get crowded if your kids are bigger like our teenagers! (One bathroom. It's basically a mobile home)

2. Request a cabin close to bus depot. We walked forever to get to our cabin.

3. There are 2 pools. The newer fancier one was super crowded but the old basic one was our favorite because we almost had it to ourselves and this was in July!

4. It seemed like The Cabins would be more fun for people who drive because you could pack things that would be fun like bikes, fishing gear, volley balls. To rent them all gets pricey.

5. We went to the campfire and didn't know you had to bring your own smores.

Have fun!

We stayed at the cabins back in December. They are very nice, but for a family of 6 might be a bit crowded as there is only 1 bathroom and no seperate toilet room. The second double bed is a murphy bed that folds out into the middle of the living room area. We liked it because we drive to all the parks and enjoyed pulling up right in front of our cabin to unload sleeping children, instead of having to carry them through an entire hotel/ resort parking lot and up winding paths & elevators. We could also leave things like the strollers in the car for the next day.

The full sized kitchen is great. We had dining, but ate breakfast in the cabin almost everyday and saved out meals for later on.

As far as the pools go, it's a crap shoot, some cabins are closer, some are far away. Your best bet would be to rent a golf cart. Disney rents them at FW, but I believe some outside vendors still rent them and deliver them as well.

We really enjoyed them as you had a lot of privacy with your own porch and even a grill, plus your own parking space. The kitchen was a true full sized kitchen with a pantry, full sized fridge/freezer, full sized oven/range and microwave. They also do the dishes for you as a part of their mousekeeping.

If you want a slightly bigger option there are family suites at the all-star resorts which I believe have 2 bathrooms.
