My husband and I are taking our very first vacation without the children! We are going with friends on DCL Nov 2-6, 2008. SO SO excited.

Considering that we havent been to WDW in (GASP!) 2 years there is a LOT of new stuff to see and do.. we are planning to spend ONE day at WDW right before our cruise. I am of course taking it as a challenge to see everything we have either missed, or is new since 06! Here is my plan.. think we can manage it? :scared: Keep in mind the date is November 1... I wonder how crowds will be? I can utilize fastpasses if I have to.

I plan to be at Animal Kingdom at rope drop-
1.Ride mt Everest (It was in soft opening when we went last)
2. Ride Kilamanjaro Safari (my DH's favorite ride at WDW)
3. Take pictures of the tree of life with our new camera.

Drive personal vehicle to Magic Kingdom

1. Ride Pirates of the Caribean (we missed it somehow.. and I MUST ride it)
2. eat turkey legs and dole whip floats for lunch
3. See Monsters Inc.
3. Ride Buzz Lightyear
4. Take pictures in front of the castle
5. Ride Jungle Cruise.

Ride the Monorail to EPCOT

1. Ride Spaceship Earth
2. Ride the Nemo Ride at Living Seas
3. Eat around the world for Dinner
4. See Illuminations

Return to MK by monorail.

Aw, come on, the kids won't be there to set an example for, no need sticking to your nutritionally balanced lunch! ;)

Looks like a fun plan. Have a magical time!
