Anyone know or maybe have read somewhere that maybe, just maybe, a code will come out for a 'room only' discount after 7/4?
Thanks for any replies! I need to book something soon, we will be there 7/5? yikes!

Well, it's hard to say...historically, codes for mid to late summer have come out in April. Now the Fairytale package seems like it will be the big summer deal. You never know with Disney--they could surprise us! I just went ahead and booked the new package just because I have a feeling that's the best I will be able to do. I can't help but think the codes would have been out already if they were going to have them.

I agree wtih gumdrop, you never know. But, I feel that Disney's release of the Fairytale Package is what they intended for the big deal for the summer. AP rates for the summer have also been released and they usually follow general public codes not preceed it. Now, again they might release general room-only codes, but I think it will only be after how well they see the FT doing. Which leaves me to believe that it will be limited in availabliity if they do it. If you've already purchased your passes, you're not done yet. You could always book an AP rate, and just exchange one of your hopper passes for an AP. If you're only intending on going to the 4 main parks, that AP costs $370 + tax, not that much of an increase over a hopper pass to ensure of a discount. You wouldn't have to make the exchange until you arrived, so if general codes are released in the meantime, you could change your ressie, if not, you're covered. Now, if you have used hopper passes, things get a little trickier. You then would only be able to purchase the general AP if you haven't used any plus options, and then get a pro-rata credit for the used hopper. If you have used plus options on the hopper then you'd have to buy the Premium AP, which is about $100 more. Good luck to you and I hope it all works out!
