I am busting with excitement. Hubby and I have never had time alone...ever. I had a daughter when we got married, that he adopted, so we have never experienced time without kids.

He told me a couple of weeks ago to book a vacation for us during my spring break (I work at a school). JUST.US. I have been dreaming, wishing, beggin for this for years.

I was thinking since it was just us and it is 50 below here in March, we should probably do Hawaii. So I started looking into it and showing him hotels, activities, etc. His reponse? What are we going to do? Looks boring. So I asked him what he wanted to do for our vacation? He told me he was more interested in WDW! I about fell out of my chair as that has been my DREAM vacation. So we discussed (my guilt) about not taking the kids (got over it quick, since they get to take a special trip to California every year with Grandma) and started looking into it.

Well..with Free Dining, we were able to book 9 days at All Star Music Resort. AND I was able to get mileage tickets for us to get down there.

I am busting with excitement, but have to temper it as the children are not nearly as happy about our vacation choice. They have 170 days to get over it. And I am secretly hoping for a bounceback offer so we can take them back for Christmas or spring break the following year.

IAMSOFREAKINGEXCITEDICANHARDLYSTANDIT!!!! and yeah, I think he's a keeper.

If you've read this far...thank you! Now I have a question: Do you think it's going to be warm enough for Blizzard Beach? I opted not to get the waterpark pass. I can add it on later if it's warm enough, right?

Sounds wonderful and I hope you have a great trip :thumbsup2 We stayed at All Star Music and liked it. I am not sure about weather in March, as our trip was in August. My cousins went to WDW in Feb and it was in the low 80's for a few days during their trip even though the average is upper 60's/low 70's for that month, so I am thinking that it could be hit or miss regarding the weather being hot enough for a waterpark. I probably would just wait to add on the water parks & more option onto your ticket until you are ready to use it; or if you only plan on doing one water park day and don't plan on visiting DisneyQuest, it may be less expensive to wait until you get to the waterpark to purchase your admission tickets for Blizzard Beach that day. Congratulations on your long awaited honeymoon!
