We're staying at POR in early December... and have made reservations through Disney (using rack rate)....
Had a room-only ressie using our AAA discount, and we went round and round when we decided to do the DDP whether we should go through AAA or stick with Disney directly.
Based on the fact that Disney had offered discounts during the time we're going in year's past, we stayed with Disney, and just gave up our AAA rate.
But now I see where the discounts might have only been for Value hotels... or did they offer discounts for moderate hotels also during that time, does anyone know?
I hate to think I just gave up a $300 discount, and won't be able to get one later.... I know I made that gamble, but was really thinking we'd be able to use a code later.
And another question also, I just looked up POR on AAA's site, and they have it listed as you can get rooms from $148.75/night... that makes no sense, since we're only paying $140?
