Our spring vacation is next week and we are heading to Nassau - not a Disney Cruise. I have already checked the schedule and it turns out I can wave :wave2: hello & goodbye to the Wonder 3 times while we are there. Part of me wants to go to the port just to see it. I think the other part of me will cry :sad2: as I watch it unable to get on. Has anyone else experienced this? We are booked on the Magic in Novermber 2005 but it seems a million years away.

I have never experienced this, but, think of it this way...You are on vacation in the Bahamas.....Not in this icky want-to-be spring land we are in...

You will enjoy it...I do not know what I would do, but I am sooooo nosey I would step down to see the magic, and possibley bow to her...

Enjoy your holiday, and November is very very soon... :cloud9:

Yes yes yes. I can totally relate. In August 2003 DH and I went to a wedding in Nassau and stayed at an all-inclusive resort on Cable Beach. The one day DH was out on a wave runner and came quickly back to me on the beach very excitedly -- If he went out far enough, he was able to see the Wonder docked. So I hopped on the wave runner with him, we 'drove' out on the waver runner and both practically started crying. We would have much rather had been on the Wonder than at this resort in Nassau!!!

LOL -- a couple months later, we came home and bought DVC. Let's just say our non-Disney trip to Nassau was not a pleasant one! ;)

We were in Key West one time, when the magic pulled up and docked. We had not yet been on a disney cruise..it was spectacular to see, and yes, we had a disney cruise booked almost immediately after that..lol.

Go see it..you can't miss the chance to see her!

One of my favorite things to do when on the cruise is to watch the reaction of those on other ships and on shore when the horn blows. For those who do not know, the Disney horn bellows "When You Wish Upon a Star".

My husband suggested that we take our old KTTW cards to get on the boat - obviously he knows they wouldn't work :rotfl2: , I think he is as sad about it as I am.
How can you not want to see the ship but how can you see it without having the opportunity to board!
