Think friend just got upgrade, can you confirm?

Our friends decided to go on the cruise w/us and booked a Cat. 12 GTY. I just checked the Disney website for her reservation still says Cat. 12 but the room number is 2054. Isn't that a Cat. 9, which is a deluxe outside with a window? I just wanted to make sure before I call her.

well considering all inside staterooms end in odd numbers, and all outside staterooms end in even it appears that an upgrade was given! When are yall sailing? A quick check of http://dcltribute.com/decks.htm shows that 2054 s indeed a midship cat 9!

We are on the 4-day Wonder that leaves on Sept. 11th. I can't wait to let them know they were upgraded, I was just concerned b/c the description still says Cat. 12. How exciting! Now if they just upgrade us from our Cat.3 to a Cat.1 it will be smooth sailing

DCL website does not seem to upgrade the cabin description when an upgrade happens....we were a Cat 9 GTY and were upgraded to a 6, but on the website it still showed as a deluxe oceanview stateroom when indeed it was a verandah cabin.

I'd also like to know this, we're going 09/15 and ours still says cat 12 gty.

Also, there are just two of us and we only booked at the end of July, so are we less likely to get an upgrade?

Well if it makes you feel any better, I booked ours in Nov of 04 ! LOL SO at this point, it looks like our chances are the same!

We saw the room number on the disney website. She booked through expedia about 3 months ago-just fyi.
