Just thought would see what everyone else thinks about this. Was figuring once Avatar opens Animal Kingdom will go Tier system like Epcot and HS. My guesses for Tier 1 would be the two Avatar rides, Rivers of Light, and Safari.

I think they'll have to.

I'd say tier 1 will be: Both Pandora Rides, ROL and Safari. I can see them leaving EE as tier 2.

That's what I thought....if ToT is a Tier 2 would think EE could be too. Figured ROL will be cause it's new as well as Fantasmic and Illuminations are Tier 1 too.

I would just about bet on tiering. ROL I would about guarantee gets tier 1 just because of the huge demand, and small seating area, and they are already eating up a big bit of that seating with dining packages.

EE . . . I dunno, I'm kind of thinking that might make Tier 1 as well, but then that would be 4 in tier 1, and pretty well no chance that they are going to offer 2 tier 1 rides, because then near everyone would take the two new Pandora attractions. So, I figure both Pandora rides, and ROL for sure, EE possibly.

So far seems like we have EE and Safari as the top picks for Tier 1 fastpasses. Really?! No love for Primeval Whirl??? :earboy2:

There needs to be a lot more tier 2s than tier 1s. Maybe RoL would be in tier 1 with Pandora. And that's it.

My bet is that they will say, "Animal Kingdom is not moving to a tiered FastPass system, but you won't be able to select both Pandora rides in your initial set of 3 Fast Passes."

That's a tier system. It is possible for them to just put the 2 new Avatar rides in tier 1 and let everything else be tier 2. Maybe also include RoL.

I doubt they'd put EE in tier 1. It has a large capacity. Same with KS. Also I don't think many people ride KS multiple times in the same day, whereas lots of people ride EE a few times.

Here's my bet.

2 Tiers like HS and Epcot.

My Tier 1 prediction:
Flight of Passage
Nav'i River Journey
Rivers of Light
and...
EITHER FOTLK or Nemo
I'm serious. Putting one of the shows in Tier 1 gives them something everyone can do, and last-minute planners can still get a Tier 1 FP for when all the "good" ones are gone.

I think Safari is Tier 2 for sure, and I'm leaning that way for EE since they can't overload Tier 1.

Is anyone else hoping they do a tier system? I hope they do. It'll greatly increase the probability of getting on the new rides in the first months.

We have always done AK in a partial day. Sometimes we don't even use a FP there and save them for another park we hop to. I feel like now with the new stuff opening up and ROL we need a plan. I did book Tuskar House for a breakfast so we can use that to get in ROL that night. However, we won't stay in AK all day. Will just have to come back at night.

The Pandora strategies are being discussed on the FP subforum and will move you to the Tiering speculation thread.

I'm looking at the Studios, where Tower of Terror remained a Tier 2 despite being a headliner.

Based on that, I think it's highly likely that either ExE or the Safari remain in Tier 2. My guess is both.

There's another possibility that I haven't seen mentioned - AK goes to a Tier system, has only three Tier 1 attractions, *but* allows a guest to select up to *two* Tier 1s. We might think of that as "mild tiering"

The thinking is that "you can pick what you want, as long as you don't pick all three of the new ones".

I really hope they don't go to tiers. I HATE what it does to planning for our family. HATE it.
