Things You Need To Take To DISCON2

Ok I know that DISCON2 is a long way away, but as my excitment is getting almost uncontrollable I thought that I would start preparing for all the fun to make the time go quicker. I love making lists and even have lists to keep track of all my lists which ARE laminated , so what kind of things do I need to take?

I know that something lime green would be good but what else? Do you wear festive things, theme dress, hats etc Does anyone have any ideas?

Emma, we wore tiara's for the tea at the Grand Floridian. That was fun and everyone looked so festive. I bought mine at the Disney Store in the princess section. For Tia's Fantasyland meet, we wore festive/holiday hats. Some of us had on Christmas hats and some of us had on Patriotic hats. (Steve) It was fun! I brought along lime green ribbon to tie on my backpack. It seemed like whatever you wanted to do was ok. I walked around for few days with my MInnie princess ears and no one looked at me funny at all. Where else can you do that??

I know that I'm going to take a notepad and pencil to write down the names of all those DISers that I meet...hahaha.

You know what I wish that I had last year? I saw a lot of people wearing these string of battery-operated, blinking, multi-colored, christmas lights that they wore around their necks.

If any of you have a computer link to these things, please let me know.

Everyone that I asked at WDW got theirs at Walmart, but when I got back to Atlanta, they didn't know what I was talking about.

I'm not much of a festive hat person, but I would wear those lights...hahaha.

Toys-R-us sales a great Santa Claus hat.

Ray if you cant get hold of any lights, let me know nearer the time as my local garden centre opens a grotto every year and they stock the lights you were talking about.

& Barb, I wear my tiara most days so theres no change for me there!

I only went shopping yesterday and in my local department store they had a sale on fluffy rudolph antlers and flashing noses guess where i may be going tomorrow
keep these ideas coming...

Try to be in really good shape before DIS-CON starts.
There'll be lots of walking, laughing, talking, (crying?) and not much sleep.........
Last year we had soooo much fun, but afterwards we were soooooooooo tired

Emma, Mickey ears are not essential, but they're strongly encouraged along with Princess hats, Princess ears, Minnie ears, Mickey reindeer ears, Mickey Santa Hats, tiara's and any other neat "festive" hat you want to bring along!
