Things To Do

We've got reservations for FW and we were wondering if there are things to do for a couple in their 60's. We're not going to any of the theme parks, (been there, done that several times,) but we'll do the campfire, light show and fireworks.
What is there for us to do during the day besides riding our bikes and going to the pool?
Someone told us we can take the monorail and visit the hotels. How does that work?

Take the boat over to the Contemporary, then hop on the resort monorail. You can visit Contemporary, Poly and Grand Floridian resorts. The boat will also take you to WL.

You could also go to Downtown Disney.

We just got back and spent the first two days at Campground before we went to a park. I am 50 and Hubby is 60. You will find that you will have plenty to do and not go to a theme park.

We have decided that the next trip we will not go to the theme parks but enjoy the rest of the things more. This was are first trip, so we did the theme parks.

You could also play some golf or mini-golf, go to one of the spa's, or buy a one day ticket to one of the water parks. Have fun!

Go to Downtown Disney or one of the parks by bus or boat and take the bus to the Boardwalk Resort.From there you can walk around the lake or take the boat and visit the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts or the Swan and Dolphin. You can also just ride the boat to the MGM and back. You can visit any of the hotels by the same method,boat or bus to DTW or Park to resort.DTD also has a boat that will take you to the Port Orleans Resorts. Walk around enjoy the resorts and even have a meal or snack.We are also seniors and love to do this.
