So I really want to go to Japan to pick a pearl and am having a hard time convincing my parents it's worth going to the worlds part. Are there any fun things to kep my 5 year old occupied and make my parents willing to go? I thought about a scavenger hunt in the worlds like in Mexico find one of those Mexican hats and photograph him in it and so on but I don;t know what stuff would be cute to photograph him in in each of the countries. Any suggestions?

buy a passport--then go to the kidcot sites in each country--they will stamp the passport and write a message to your 5 yr old in thier native tongue. Also the have masks that the kids can color and decorate. The CMs are very good with the kids...our 5 and 8 yr olds love this. There are also some wonderful storytellers and street actors. The band in Canada is great and the belly dancer in Morrocco is wonderful. Our kids love the show.

There is also the little boat ride in Mexico that has the three Cabollarros[seriously spelled wrong] in it. And do not miss the giant troll in Norway---we have photos from every trip of the kids with the troll.

Norway has a boat ride, too. The American Pavilion has a good show, and the pre-show singers are great. Several character meet and greet spots, too.
