What little thing makes you happy?

I went to pick up some plants for my garden this morning. This alone makes me happy! As a bonus the farm I went to has mini donkeys and if a mini donkey isn’t enough to make you smile they had babies! DH felt I didn’t need one

Watching Bob roll in the grass like a fool makes me happy. And him too.

Sitting around a campfire with new and old friends. I love getting to know other people in such a laid back environment.

Squirrels fill me with joy, I just love watching them frolic this time of year and seeing the seasons first butterflies, waiting for the first dragonflies and fireflies too tulips and butterfly bushes are everywhere plus all the trees are flowering which is lovely to see.

For me it's getting up to go out for a walk first thing in the morning and it's beautiful, sunny and crisp outside. Something about the fresh air early morning that makes for an enjoyable start to the day. And if I happen to come across a friendly dog while out, then that just makes it even more perfect

just got my first batch of annuals and have been planting between the downpours... I got dirt under my fingernails despite washing my hands... the ruby throated hummingbirds have returned .... and the leafening is just about complete in Western Massachusetts... so green and lovely, what a difference a few weeks makes. Looking forward to puttering in my yard.

This time of year when I can sleep with the windows and slider door open (intruders schmooders lol). I LOVE hearing the birds in the morning. They all sound so happy!
