Everyone i know seems to LOVE Stephen King but i just can't get into reading his books. to me, i feel like he over-explains everything to the point of i forget what i was even reading about in the first place.

and i also can't get into True Blood. i tried...really i did. i've been into the "vampire" thing since i was little i loved Lost Boys and Buffy/Angel and Interview With a Vampire and everything but i tried getting into True Blood and i couldn't do it. i like SOME plot to my shows, if you know what i mean!

so what are some things that you can't stand that everyone else seems to like??

Cheese.

The only cheese I can stand to eat is parmesan and mozzerella. Everything else makes me gag.

Twilight and Harry Potter. If you start talking about those two things around me I will totally tune you out. Yep, I'm hatin' on the vampires and wizards!:rotfl2:

Twilight books and movies. I forced myself to read all the books but hated the first two and the second two were just okay fluff. I am not going to bother with the movies.

Baseball and football. Neither DH nor I has ever liked following this. When we lived in New Hampshire it drove people nuts that we would not know when Patriot or Red Sox games were.

:rotfl::rotfl: I totally get that...I don't really follow either sport, and it drives everyone here crazy that I don't speak their language :)

vampire stuff.
harry potter.
hip hop music.
home and away.
cola.
wine.
sport.
swimming.

sports - of any kind - watching not participating
twilight
any tv show that people go on and on about. If you have to schedule your life around TV maybe you need to re-evaluate things.

Lord of the Rings... I watched the ending of the third one and almost killed myself as it seemed to go on FOREVER!!! The third one was the only one I saw as I was forced to (long story) and I can't imagine what I'd do if I ever had to see that crap ever again!

ME TOO, my husband forced me to see all of them but the last one was the worst. It was a good thing my gf told me the ending went on and on otherwise I would have been even more disappointed. It was torture.

As for things I don't think are great how about designer hand bags made out of plastic or fabric for example I saw a Prada bag made out of fabric and it was hundreds...I love a good leather handbag without the designer logo. I hate to pay for someone else's adertisment. When I look at some of them, I think of the story the Emperor's New Clothes...no one actually sees the quality etc of the bag only the logo.

Reality TV and Talent type shows....I just don't 'get' them at all! :confused3

Zebra Domes

Twilght (books and movies) Tried to read the first book and simply could not get into it. Tried the movie and the same happened.

Seinfeld.

I just couldn't do it. Didn't think it was funny.

LOVED Friends. I probably like tv too much.
But just couldn't do Seinfeld.
