I have just been thinking about the stuff I have yet done at DLP and some of it is criminal!

1. We have never seen the parade at DL park ( I have no idea why, I put it down to being a newbie when we went, we saw the christmas one)

2.Never seen the parade at WDS (Another shocker!)

3. Never been on the paddle boats (closed on both of our trips)

4.Never done Armageddon.

5. Never seen The Lion King.( I was a bit confused by the ticket system)

6. Never seen Tarzan(really looking forward to seeing it! It was not on both time we last went)

7. le pays des contes de fee(closed on both previous visits)

8. Seen the dragon (dd would not go any where near it!)

not done to bad on the ride front!

I've not done 3 to 6 either!! Nor have I done Panoramagique and I've only eaten at a few of the DLP restaurants - there are loads I haven't been into.

And I don't think I have ever seen any fireworks in the Disneyland Park!! :sad2:

I've never seen the fireworks.
Never ridden in one of the Main Street vehicles ( and it was on my list of things to do last time)
Not ridden Space Mountain version 1 or 2 wimped out on all visits.

Other than that I think we've done pretty well, in fact whilst weighing up the pros and cons of another trip (I was trying to be objective) as DH says I always manage to come up with a reason to book, but if I'm completely honest we probably wouldn't want to go and see HISTA, the Lion King, Animagique, Cinemagique or Buffalo Bill again.

So I'm hoping that next year as well as the new rides, parades ? we might get a new show at the park too, or we could just go at Christmas when there's bound to be different shows on.
You see the pro's come out on top everytime. :rotfl2:

oh..even more I haven't done
9. I have never done Panoramagique(dd asked to do it many times) ,

10. seen fire works,

11. main street vehicles

12. the night time parade( was on at Christmas however to cold and dd was
tired),
13. Winnie the pooh and friends show.

13.Switching on the Christmas lights

14.bufflo bills(dbf has asthma, not doing it this year, my sister will hate it!)

15.Plaza gardens character tea.

16.Lucky nuggets saloon character meal.

17.Character breakfast.

There is lots of resturants that we have not yet been to do..there is so much choice!
I think i will maybe attemp a visit in the summer season in the future, we will not be there for the summer season this year as it is not really worth it untill dd is able to stay up later.

Not done 4, 6, 15 (although not a sweet thing lover so not on my to do list :teeth: ) and 16.

I was doing quite well on that first list you posted - only nos. 1 and 3 not done (I have seen the Halloween parade, but not the regular afternoon one).

However, the second list got me - not done ANY of them! I've seen Main Street Electrical Parade if that counts for no.12, but not Fantillusion.

I am glad its not just me who has not seen the regular parade..I was rather embrassed about it..

Have to say plaza gardens does not appeal to me as the combintation of sugar and disney will have dd bouncing of the walls!

I have also missed out on 2, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13 an 16 !!!

And added extras:

Ice-skating at HNY
Rock n Roller coaster
SMII
Buzz
Temple of Peril

Most important of all I have never met Donald Duck

I have not been to:

1. Peter Pan's flight
2. It's a small world
3. The steam-boat round thunder mountain
4. The dragon
5. Im sure there is more - I just can't think atm.

We didn't get around to ice skating either Quack, mind you I never mastered roller skating as a child, so I don't really fancy my chances.
Jamie went with the school last year, and when he got home I asked if he'd fallen over to which he answered "yeah like every time I stood up", obviously follows his mum then. :lmao:

hiya as a first time visitor to dlp we've done quite well on the first list, seen both parades and went on the molly brown steamer(is that a paddle boat),saw lion king and tarzan and animagique, what is the dragon that people are talking about?
my mum was desperate to do the balloon but it was closed for the first 2 days we were there cos of the changeable weather, and on our last day we were watching it and it seemed to go sooooooo high, that we werent sure. next time for sure!!!

There is a dragon under the castle, it is superbly impressive and I believe that I read somewhere that at the time it was built it was the largest animatronic figure in Europe.
I've always thought of it as Maleficent's dragon, because of the theming in the castle and the horns at the entrance, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be. :maleficen
It's a must see at the park, but little one's might find it a bit scary.

I didn't think we were doing too badly on the Studios side of things, til we watched the programme on the Travel Channel on Thursday evening!

Don't know how we missed the design your own roller coaster and a couple of other things, needless to say they are on our 'to do' list for July this year.

oh that dragon, yes we saw that on our first afternoon there, under the castle. we actually stumbled across it by accident as we just followed a trail of people. my little one loved it along with the croc in disney village, she's a strange girl, likeing all things scarey and that move.

that design your own rollercoaster is great fun - only done it once though because you have to go through the whole boring production studio thing! it gets busy though - we waited 40 minutes for it :(

some things I've never done -

1 - dumbo

2 - flying carpets over agrabah

3 - adventure isle (tried once and got lost lol)

4 - buffalo bill

5 - panoramagique

6 - dinner in king ludwigs

7 - orbitron...sure there is more!!

you just get into a routine though don't you?

I have thought that as well mainly as it is sleeping beauty castle.

I am doing fairly well.
I havent:
seen fireworks - but hope to in May
seen the Whinnie Pooh show - never been in the summer
Buzz - also looking forward to doing in may
design your own roller coaster
Les Pirouettes du Vieux Moulin

and one or two restaurants we haven't been too

When we went to DLP we had one day in the park so was a bit 'rush rush'
Plus I was 17 and my bro was 13 so we didnt do any off the 'kiddie things'
I remember thinking at the time that we didnt do much and that there was so much more to do, but we were lucky to be able to go for that one day so had to be grateful

Never stepped foot in Walt Disney Studios and the only rides I rememeber going on were Space mountain and that ride with all the baddies (cant remember what it was called but things like that scare the hell out of me so stuck in my mind!!! especially as it was full of all the characters that gaves me nightmares as a child!)
