things i have learned and the value destruction of DVC

I think this event could probably slow the DVC train for Disney for a bit, as far as building new resorts. I think more and more people, who are new to the game so to speak, will become wary of purchasing DVC. Resort reservations with easy cancellation policies will become even more desired. Which makes me wonder just how Disney's plan to create the "DVC 2" will work if they only have one or two resorts within that system.

What disney should do is allow owners to exchange for Disney forgiving the MF's for the UY's the points given back to Disney this would allow Disney to rent the rooms for badly needed cash and the members would get a break on the MF's especially since the many members will NOT be able to use their points and that would soak up the excess points created by the long shutdown.
