..."soft serve pinapple sorbet", or at least says the New York Times.

The NY Times' food critic visits WDW with her grandchildren and finds the food surprisingly good. However, while the MK counter services did not thrill her, a certain pinapple based snack did.

Soft-serve pineapple sorbet from a Dole stand in Adventureland was the singular highlight before dinner.

Technically, in the medical community they are

Dr. Scopa's Miracle Elixir :rotfl2: :rotfl:

(who knows where that one is from)

I was LOL at that article--I don't have kiddos yet, but when I do I want them to be adventurous eaters (I regret being as picky as I am). However, fois gras is a bit much to me, LOL. I'm surprised they were unimpressed with Victoria & Albert's, though it seemed to me that they just wanted to "pooh-pooh" WDW's high end eatery.

Sorbet? Who knew a Dole Whip was so fancy? I hope Disney doesn't get any ideas and start charging us premium sorbet rates for our pineapple soft serve.

I can't believe this person deigned to visit WDW after her many trips abroad. I can just see her walking through the throngs of people in WDW with her nose in the air! What a flippin' snob!

I read this article last week... the woman sounds like a complete snob. You don't go to WDW expecting amazing food, incredible service, and top-notch hotels; you go to WDW expecting to have a good time. And, what's more, she complained about WDW and it's pools attracting children!!!!

I feel bad for Florence... it sounds like she doesn't know how to have fun. :(
