I was so excited when I went to Disneyworld.com and saw that the new codes were out for the general public...I thought I was going to have to wait until Sunday! I have been going to Disney every year for quite a long time and this is the best deal that I have EVER had!!

2 Adults Aug. 15-22
Polynesian for 7 nights
8 day UPH ticket
r/t Air from Philly
r/t transportation from the airport....$2300. WOW I saved over $1,000 !! I'm so excitedI did want to get a lagoon view but it was booked...but who cares! I'm going to Disney World! How has everyone else been making out??

I'll tell you my story since you asked:

I had already booked the Courtyard by Marriott in DTD for September 28-October 3 at that great rate of $20.03/night (non-refundable) then came this Fairtale Package, I called yesterday and booked the All Star Sports, 7 nights/8days with UPS for one adult and one child (7) and was quoted $863.27.

So, now I'm thinking, yes the Fairytale Package is a great offer but if your like me and want to return within the year and considering buying AP's I think that AP's are a better choice. I think (and this is my opinion only) that this Fairytale Package is great for those who know they won't make it back within a year timeframe.

Now to decide if I'm going to keep this Fairytale package or not: well, I already have paid $111.60 for a hotel room for 5 nights/6 days (which is ok by me, 7/nights/8 days is a long time away from home with a 7 year old and just me) and all that I need now are passes, with the difference it'll still be cheaper whether I buy AP's or just regular PHs then the Fairytale Package. I don't mind not staying on "disney property." although I still consider the DTD hotels "disney property just not disney owned."

After writing this long message I think I just talked myself into keeping with my original plans and let the Fairytale Package go.

Thanks for letting my vent.
