They took Remember Dreams Come True off the June Calendar?

With the test running of the Electrical Parade I am hoping they might do some more dress rehearsals the first weekend of June. I might be running from park to park to see what is going on!!!!!

So this is probably a silly question... but will they post or announce a dress rehearsal somewhere? Or will you just have to be in the right place at the right time and catch it? Thanks.

They might announce it on the day if they feel like it is truly going to happen, otherwise I would imagine it isn't posted because things can change quickly....and sometimes guests are not able to deal with those kinds of changes without getting upset.

This is the email I received today from the Disneyland Resort:

How on Earth do they feel comfortable telling people their will be no fireworks in that time frame? People travel to their resort and children/fans of Disney expect Fireworks when they enter their parks. I usually don't get upset about things but when you spend $69 per family member per day plus room and board then you feel like their are certain things that should happen especially when they post them on their website. Yes I am bitter. I wish I didn't love it so much.

Some of the fireworks for Magical are different then the ones that they use for Remember... It's unfortunate, but to have a new fireworks show some things need to be changed out/refurbed. Also, with the new flying figure on the show, some things with the line might have to be changed/replaced as well. Also the system needs to be loaded in with the new program, simulations and test runs need to be run before it's launched to the public.

It's not a matter of simply "flipping a switch" and a new show is a go.

Entertainment schedules are subject to change without notice. :(

For all intent and purposes, technically the summer season doesn't start at the Disneyland Resort until June 12th this year.

That type of information is not available to the public. Now if it's a soft opening, it'll just happen... but it's not something that is made public by Disney. There are some reports of soft openings happening the week before Summer Nighttastic, but please remember that these are soft openings and are subject to be cancelled or changed without notice.

One of the bloggers over on MiceChat or MiceAge is reporting that there will be a dress rehearsal for magical on Wednesday June 3rd.

Al Lutz:
The new Magical show should debut in the park with full dress rehearsals at 9:25 PM on Wednesday, June 3rd, with additional dress rehearsals planned for the evenings of the 5th and 6th.

June 11th 9:15pm FANTASMIC! is now listed as "Private Show", so I don't think that one will be open to the public as rumored on various Disney fan boards (which probably is also the cause why it's now a "Private Show").

EDIT: My sources are telling me that this is a "Private Show" now and the only folks that will be allowed to stay after the Park closes that night at 9pm are those with FANTASMIC! Priority Seating reservations, which have long since sold out, and the media for their press premiere. Park will close that night as a "hard close" as there is also a Grad Nite scheduled that night.
