Why was the train down - just because of the "bad show" of construction or was it something technical/logistical related to the area?

The train has been down for the past year-plus because they had to re-route the section of track between the NOS station and the Toon Town station to push it inward. The new curve accommodates the Star Wars Land footprint and uses some of the old river area that has now been shortened I'm not sure how long the track has been finished but I know they were still doing rockwork along that area very recently, so they probably needed to finish the space without trains running them down!
