I have done it now.

Actually, it's DH's fault.

We're headed to Florida for Thanksgiving this year, as we do every year, and I was telling my husband how I wished we'd stuck in an extra day or two. "Maybe," I said, "next year, we'll do a day or two at universal, go ride roller coasters..."

The hubby loves roller coasters and beer, so this is generally a winner. But NO. He pipes up and says, "Well, yeah...but maybe we can do Disney!!!"

Thoughtless man. Knowing my level of obsession, and knowing that I have at least one sibling who will worm her way into the room, I promptly begin looking at rooms. OK, I was looking at villas. Villas aren't available this early for 2008. Hmmm, what else will have a separate room?

A suite. And a Garden Suite at the BWI just happened to be available at the AAA discount. And I just happen to have a credit card. And I got it out. And I made plans to stay at a BWI garden suite for 4 days/3 nights NEXT Thanksgiving. Not even THIS Thanksgiving!!! What is wrong with me??????????????

And now I am off to revamp my budget for the next 2 months. Argh.

But YAY!!!!!! :woohoo: (realizing she is going to WDW AND having her first concierge -level stay!!!!!!!!!)

Sounds great to me!! I have always wanted to stay in a garden suite- they looks so cute and charming with the white picket fence and all. Have a great time!

BWI Garden suites are great :) but you mentioned needing a "separate room" ~ The GSs have a sleeping loft area upstairs, but it's not an actual separate room with a door. Just wanted to mention that in case you didn't realize it and it would be a problem if you found that out later.

:rotfl: My DH always baits me too. But I will take it because I get to go back to Disney each time.

Hi - THANK YOU!!! I figured this out, though it is nice to see it confirmed. We have them on the lookout for AAA discounts on a 1-bedroom villa, but they won't be available for a while, and even when they are, there might not be an AAA discount. Granted, they'll still be cheaper than the Garden Suite! But at least noe we know we've got a booking with plenty of room (and semi-privacy, anyways) for all of us for the days we want - a busy time of year, so best to get something booked up now.

We figure my sister will only stay with us one night, and the other nights, we'll just have an amazing, ridiculously posh room. I have already revamped the budget, so it's all good - DH tried to give me the whole budgetary talk (whilst grinning, he was so excited, heh heh...), and all I did was point out to him that we'd be in MORE danger of ridiculous expenditure of $ without a few days booked later in the year. Then we'd get a wild hair, and we have to book a whole separate trip - this way, we'll get to share it with another trip to FL that we already make every year, so no need to book another plane ticket, and we'll just have a few extra days on the car rental.

CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!

(Oooh, concierge, too, so excited.....)

Oh, you're welcome :) In case you might need any encouragement, I think you should just stick with your Garden Suite though! :cool1:
