Saw this Monday afternoon in a full theatre-just wonderful. Heartbreaking, but so well done. After the credits a 30 minute film narrated by Peter Jackson how the movie came to be made and how the old film was restored. A labor of love by Peter Jackson, for sure.

I saw the preview for that when I was in the movies the other day....looked very good. I would see it.

I wanted to see it in December but was too busy with moving. Then on 1/21 my family was here for our Christmas celebration. I really want to see it in theaters so I hope they do at least one more and I will make sure I go see it some way or some how!

We saw it earlier that month. The documentary itself was so touching.

Our only complaint was the Gene Kelly tribute afterward -- for someone so well known as a dancer and to only include stills in the tribute was a travesty.

Our theater didn’t have the Gene Kelly tribute. And friends who saw it at a different theater did not see it. But you’re right, no dancing or singing seems odd.
