Whaaaat? Source of info, please? That's our first PS in ten days! :headache:

allears.net menus

He was so upset , oh well more burgers for lunch I guess.

Ohhh... thought you were saying the 3-cheese monte crisco was gone.

I'm sorry about your son's PB&J going away! Any chance you could talk him into something else?

I heard that the Blue Bayou took it off their menu too. Probably part of the Disney "health food" kick since uncrustables are pretty much terrible for you BEFORE you deep fry them.

However, that didn't keep me from craving the PBJ Monte Cristo throughout my entire pregnancy with DS! I think my sorority big sister thought I was insane the day we dined at BB with her family and I ordered it.

For the adult portion I got two of the sandwiches...pure gluttony! But, they always say that your body tells you what it needs while you're pregnant, so who was I to argue with Mother Nature?

We were actually bummed they had no MC for kiddos. My ds ate a large chunk of mine!

:lmao: Peanut Butter Sandwich = 1 jar any size, any brand, +1 bag of white bread + bananas, raisins, other topper + or small jar of Grape Jelly = 50 kid peanut butter sandwiches.

Enough to feed any kid a Peanut Sandwich. Just whip out the ingredients at the restaurant table and feed the kid 1 or 2 Peanut Butter Sandwich of his choice.

And save a bundle!!!

If they complain ask them to provide the Peanut Butter Sandwich.

How do you plan on deep frying it?

What kid wants their PB&J messed with by frying it?? Powder Sugar maybe?

They want the soft white bread.

Well that is the whole point of this thread... They are talking about how they took the "PB&J Monte Cristo" off the menu. You know the peanut butter and jelly sandwhich that is dipped in batter then fried? It probably tastes better for the same reason that fried chicken tastes better than raw chicken!

DS likes the fried pb & j, if we get meals at BB in Dec. (might just get dessert) I can see him ordering the seared salmon filet.

Disney Dining verified the change... oh well canceled that ressie . For a vaction treat im not counting the calories , please how may grown ups are counting theirs at DL?

No kidding :lmao: Just how many calories do you think is in a three cheese Monte Cristo??? I think I would be VERY afraid to find out - especially if you partake of the wonderful pommes frites as well :scared1:

We plan on eating there for my DS 9th Birthday on the 31st. Can you please tell me what they replaced the PB&J wth. Thanks!!!

Oh don't even give them an ideas! Next thing you know they will try to take those away! (Please, not until at least after our trip in November.)

I understand WHY Disney is doing the menu changes but I still don't like it. I want to eat what I want when I am on vacation, and that is generally something that I usually would not be eating at home. While some of their changes appeal to some, I have to say I have seen a lot of sandwiches added to the menus. For some of us who try to stay away from carbs those would not be considered healthy in my book. No one in my family wants to sit down to eat a sandwich or a salad at every meal while we are on vacation so I sure hope they leave us a little variety!
