Well finally at physical theropy they figured out what is causing all the pain and making it hurt to move

The therapist was Great only took about 3 minutes to figure it out

there is a muscle ( i can't remeber the name but it's a long name)
she also called it the hip flexer muscle
that attaches to your spine in your mid to low back and than somehow it is by your hip and attaches again to your pelvis in front
I may not have that exact i'm not in the medical feild and i was so happy it wasn't anything more serious that i seemed to have missed all the muscle details

well anyway this muscle on her left side is in some pretty bad spasms and her right is a little to
all the nerves are aggravated

But the good news is they are saying in about 4 weeks or so she should be fine
last night after theropy she actually slept good for the first time in weeks

THANKS again for all your good wishes and PD it really helped

I'm so glad it's not too serious and is correctable with therapy. Best wishes to your DD.

Glad to hear that DD is going to fine! Best wishes and Pixie Dust for a full and speedy recovery! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I think that's something that bothers women that are pregnant too.

I'm glad she's going to feel better soon.

What good news to hear, what a relief that it seems like nothing serious and will be fine soon. I think you both will sleep much better. Great!!

It's amazing how these "misalignments" or "misfunctions" of one body part can wreak such havoc!

A few months ago, I had such a stiff neck I went to a chiropractor. She worked on me for a few sessions, snapping and cracking things and let me tell you, when all was said and done, I felt like a million $$$$$$$$$$$$.

Glad it is notihng more serious with your DD and can be easily remedied.

I'm glad the cause was found. Hope that she is better real soon and that it doesn't happen again!:sunny:

how wonderful that it can be fixed by physical therapy. You must feel such relief!

Was it by any chance the piriformis muscle. I had a major problem with my lower back and left leg in May after a trip to Disney. I would get these shooting pains down my leg and feel like I couldn't walk. At it's worst I was using the extra wheelchair we have at work as a walker to support my weight. I could move allright when I got going but getting up from sitting was excrutiating. I went for 3 MRI's and many X-rays that all came back normal before I went to PT. Just like with your daughter they told me pretty quickly it was my piriformis muscle. The muscle becomes inflammed and compresses the sciatic nerve. I went to PT for about three weeks and felt fine. Now I just got back from Las Vegas where I did a lot of walking again and I am in a lot of pain againg. I just went back to PT again yesterday.

I hope your daughter does well.

Lisa

Great news. Glad it was nothing serious.
