I don't mind the day apart at all. We'll actually have a few because they want to spend a day at each coast, and we don't want to go. We've (DH & I and my parents) vacationed in places all around the world together including WDW in '03. So, we know we can travel well together. We also know the key is to NOT spend 24/7 together.
