Now, onto it:

Running in Disney: props to you! And even more props to running outside! I did AKL in Jan and used their gym a bit, but aside from that have never managed to get out for a run, that, and I just don't run outside, it hurts my lungs & throat way too much, although I would LOVE to run a Disney race I just don't think it's in the cards

LOVE walking right over to Epcot! I'm DEFINITELY going to book a room at the BW resort areas for a few nights during F & W this year! Make it nice and easy to get to work too

Oh my GOD that kid on Soarin! I am seriously dying, I would've been crying, that's hilarious! Glad he survived!

Again with the LOVE, all the hot topic stuff, I wait for the day that I can actually buy some of it! I've even been back on the website recently to be all "just buy it" but then I just can't bring myself to get them. I think it's because EVERYONE has them that deters me? I dunno, I also really want the Peter Pan one and it's super popular lol

I love Hot Topic. I'd buy from there all the time if it wasn't for the insane shipping charge to Canada. So I do cherish the clothes I have from there. hehe That said, I sooooooooo wanted the sleeping beauty dress you have. But again..... shipping.

Oh man...that kid. I was laughing reading the story. I know I shouldn't have, but I just thought about Soarin' and how relaxing it is and then pictured that kid having a meltdown over such a calm, smooth ride. Like, I get Thunder and Splash and maybe even Maeltstrom if the kid hates rides that much. but Soarin'?

I always feel bad for the kids whenever the parents clearly force their kids to go on a ride they don't want to. But I guess those two figured if the younger girl could do it...

I adore running outside. I absolutely hate the treadmill, and will run outside in crazy humidity before I get on a treadmill. The lungs hurting....that goes away.

Good luck getting a resort there for F&W! Seriously, if we don't book through DVC 11 months in advance, we never get in there during that time of year.

I got so many compliments on the Hot Topic stuff in Disney. I think we feel like everyone has them, because the people we know have them. But when I would wear them in the park, there weren't that many people there with the items from Hot Topic. I wouldn't let that deter you.

I was amazed that the boy was so scared about Soarin'. I mean...it's Soarin'!

It was hysterical. We saw each other from a distance and both started laughing immediately because it was so funny.

They typically have good sales! Either 25% off online, or buy one get one 1/2 price in store. I highly recommend checking it out.

That kid is right. It was really funny. And I think you are right, the parents probably figured that the younger of the two would do it, so the older would do it too. We use the same logic on my nephews.

I am going back for Star Wars Weekends! My brother and I are going over Memorial Day weekend, because all we need to do is take one day off to get a four day weekend. We want the focus to be on SWW more than anything.

I think the crowds might be a bit heavier, just because people will be capitalizing on the long weekend. But I think now with FP+ anything is manageable. That's just me though.

Please accept my apologies for being missing for the last few days.

On Thursday the 3rd, I had my wisdom teeth removed. Everything went well with the surgery, so no major issues. However, the pain meds that they've given me (Norco) have really taken it out of me, and I just haven't had the concentration to do much other than sit around and sleep.

My Pop also had some oral surgery. He had to have some teeth removed and had a cyst that needed to be removed as well. He's doing okay, just in a lot of pain and very swollen. He actually had to have stitches and the like, so he's much worse for wear than I am.

I promise to have an update this week and will catch up on everyone else's threads.

Glad things went well but bummer about the meds taking you out of it so much! You need to get some of those meds that would make for some really interested TR updates!

Brian got majorly swollen after his wisdom teeth removal, so I can imagine how Popadon looks/feels. Nick, on the other hand, woke up crazy from anesthesia but barely swelled at all and only took two Vicodin.

I hope you and Popadon feel 1000% better tomorrow.

Blegh, getting wisdom teeth out is just an unpleasent experience all around. Nobody likes doing it.

I hope you and Popadon get to feeling better quick, and I'll be sending happy thoughts your way in hopes all that swelling goes down quickly.
Rest up, and take plenty of time to sleep and recover, the DIS isn't going anywhere.
