Hope this is the right place for this, if not, please move. I have to vent somewhere and I think if I don't I will burst!!!! Made all the park decisions and also the ADRs for our trip in August. Was very pleased with myself. Then last nitght I happened on to the "Official Site" and was just checking things only to find that the Early Entry and the Late Openings have changed!!!! All the work that I had done is useless!!! None of the ADRs are connected to the Early Entry and the idea of going to the parks on Non-Early Entry days...all gone down the tubes!!!! Am going to have to trash the plan and start all over and most likely will have to change all ADRs!!! Thought that the 180 + 10 was a good thing...had no idea this would happen!!!! OK done venting!!! Thanks for listening!!!! Guess I could do with a little pixiedust:

I don't see where the emh have changed. Its the same schedule as the one I printed out on 2/24.

I'm sorry you have to redo, but the schedule change was announced last December (I think the OP used the schedule from 2005)

I am not seeing where the dates were changed. I just checked the Disney website & the emh's are the same as when the calendar was posted about a month ago. :confused3

what a mess. i kept running into that with fireworks. hopefully the schedules will remain the same as it would really be hard planning with 180 days, 90 was tough enough....well it will use up your time till you can go and maybe make the time seem to go faster?( looking for asilver lining here :sunny: )

I wouldn't plan on the schedules remaining the same. I wouldn't plan things so finely that changes to park hours or EMH nights make that much of a difference.

Personally I thought the EMH stuff was kind of overrated. Seems like the parks are more crowded those days and I found we enjoyed the parks more when it was not an EMH day there. That's just me and we were there in Oct. when it wasn't super crowded. I probably wouldn't change everything...it takes me too long to get my schedule the way I like it so I'd leave it. If it were me that is.

These are the same EMH hours that have been on the official site for August. If you were following the "standard" EMH schedule for 2006 then yes, they are all different. I hope you are able to get it all juggled around! It is a pain. I just hope they don't decide to make it Early Entry on the days I have 8 AM breakfast ADRs. Can't waste the first hour sitting in a restaurant!!

I've been using the list at disney.com. I'm assuming that is the official list. Am I correct? Thanks.

Thought that I had checked the times before I made the ADRs and they were the same as last year. I must have missed the December change. I was using the Early Mornings and the Evening the same way as to avoid the crowds as others have said here. Oh well, we will make do and if we have to change some of the Ressies, then we will!!! It is not going to spoil the trip!! After all it's DISNEY!!! pixiedust:

Also, check the schedule just before you go. Sometimes, a special event at a park will change the EMH. On one of our trips, we were using EMH MK AM, first day of our trip, got to MK and the EMH morning had been changed to AK due to a marathon or some type of similar event. Very disappointing!

Best of wishes on successful rescheduling!

August is a tough month. We went the third week of August last year and disney changed the EMH's for the last two weeks 2 months before we left. I think they plan EMH's around crowd levels, and they are always subject to change. This year we are going the second week in the hopes that posted hours will remain relatively stable. It can be a hassle if you plan on going to EMH's and plan ADR's around that schedule.

I'm pretty sure that they changed for next week. I was making plans, and I though MGM evening EMH was Monday, but it's now Sunday. It's not a big deal to me, because we're major park hoppers, but I'm glad I saw it now, and not when I was there! I think the MK evening date switched too.
