Why do they keep changing? When it was first released it was different dates then within hours they changed and now changed again? Whats the deal? I booked CSR with a room only for 10/22 and FD package from 10/23 on. I called today to add my 10/22 to the package and no go, not even if I switch to another mod (I know someone said CBR was open but they didn't even offer me that). So annoying why not just release the right dates from the start? We are on the DXDP so while the extra credits would have been fine, I don't think we will "need them" I would have just liked to not have to check out and back in on the 23rd so darn annoying!!

O, also I ahve friends who booked 11/4 - 11/11, I noticed now that it's 11/3 so as long as they don't make any changes their reservation will be honored right?

KEPE, CBR is available for Oct 22 arrival with FD. It was offered to me today, when I tried adding an extra day of FD to my POFQ reservation. The CM I spoke to offered it to me, and I just checked online and there is availability. Unfortunately for an Oct 22 arrival date, it appears that all the other Mods are booked under FD.

Thanks Habsfan. I will check with DH to see if he is interested in switching (we're at CSR). It's not the credits it just the matter of not being able to unpack on Sat. and then getting up at the crack of dawn to check out and in before we head to our early ADR would have been nice to not have to do that.

UUUGGGG! The one day I don't get to check the boards until after 9:00 and I miss out on locking in an extra day of free dining!!! Does anyone know if POP is sold out for FD on the 22nd of October??

Any ideas why that roughly one week period of February 3-10 is blacked out? We were planning on checking in February 2 which would qualify us for FD, but now I'm worried that crowds will be high while we're there.

So funny but I'm laughing about my situation now. I am booked room only for 10/22 and 10/23 - 10/29 FD. I tried to add 10/22 (not for the credits) but so I don't have to check in and out again. They said NOPE not available. Now I looked and my resort is sold out so I get that they don't want to give me FD for another day, however..... I did upgrade to DXDP so technically they would be getting more money out of me, guess they don't want my $$$

I am SO thrilled I booked our Thanksgiving trip already!!!! We are checking in the 18th and it is now a black-out date for free dining.....Thanks to my DH for agreeing .

I was able to cancel our room only ressie on December 10th & add it back into our package!
So, now our package is December 10-18, with FD for the whole stay.
Now, I can stop waiting for the room only discount!




Now, a quick question, if we decide to add a day to the end, the 19th, would it make us loose our FD or would that even matter as long as we're still checking in on the same day?

March 3rd was added ( our check in date) so we had FD applied to our ressie today. Good to know we at least have a decent discount -$932. Still hoping for a good % discount though as that would likely be a better savings and we'd change the ressie again

If we change from 4 people to only 3 will that change cause us a problem since our arrival day is no longer on the free dining? Or is it only if we were to change resorts or days?

Wow! I am so glad we booked on the day Free Dining was first released because our check-in day, December 3rd, is blacked out now! Thanks dissers for the heads up!

When Free Dining was originally Mar 4-10 we originally had

Room Only Feb-29-Mar 4 (4 nights)
MYW Mar 4 - Mar 9 (5 days in the parks)

Now with the Free Dining dates changed, I changed the ressie to

Room Only Feb 29 - Mar 3 (3 nights)
MYW Mar 3 - Mar 9 (6 days in the parks)

We get an extra day of park access and free dining - I only hope it was worth the extra effort - I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR 1 HOUR MAKING THE CHANGE !! I'm scared to see my long distance phone bill.

Thanks! Right now I have a room only reservation for CBR for Oct. 20th to 22nd and FD at POP from 23rd to 31st. I only need to add the 22nd to the front of my package.

You should be fine if you add a day... (as long as there is availability) as long as your check in day falls within the new dates you will be fine.

You can change your party size without a problem, as long as you do not change your resort or your days!

As long as you DO NOT make any reservation changes you will be fine. All the old dates will be honored.

I am so excited about the change in dates! We had a PIN (room discount code) and were paying for the DDP to be added. My check in wasn't a FD date.

Well - with the new dates, my check in is included!

So, I called and changed the 3 reservations under our grand gathering and we are saving a total of nearly $650!!!!!

did you try POR? that's right next to POFQ.

I discussed the options with DH last night, and I think we are going to go ahead and try POR. I really wanted POFQ since it is the first pick-up and drop-off for the bus... but having the convenience of a single ressie plus a couple of extra meals made POR more appealing. We will be able to keep a king room, just hoping it is conveniently located (preferred rooms aren't available).
