The other day there was a thread about a $15 buy back at HH. I know I shouldn't have opened it but I just couldn't resist. Then I read another one where the poster said they did an add at HH with an April use year. Same use year as ours. I know I should have just hit the back button and walked away from the computer but I didn't. Instead, I just called our guide and.....

Did another add on. We'lll now have enough to spend a week every July in a two bedroom.

Somethings are just meant to be, I suppose. Maybe, just maybe, we'll eventually have enough points to spend 2 weeks there in the summer. That's my DH's goal.

Just wanted to share our excitement!

Yeah for you! It was me that posted in delight about my recent add-on there! From what I understand the points are moving pretty darn fast!

Have you stayed at HH before? We haven't but are very excited about our first visit between Christmas and New Year's Eve this year!

With the buyback, points are $69. Minimum add on for the $15 buyback is 50 points.

Trampslady, we have been to HH the last 2 summers. Added on once during the first visit. Added on again during the second visit. This time I'm ahead of the game and added on before we go in July. Hey, maybe come July, we'll do another add on! There's a thought. We have never been in the winter months - someday we'll try that but with the kids little - they like the idea of a beach vacation. I'm sure your going to love it. It's a great place to kick back and relax. Have a wonderful stay!

I shouldn't have read this thread.
Tell me I have enough points...
I have enough points, I have enough points, I have enough points..
Maybe if I tell myself often enough I will believe it.

That's what got me in trouble too! Should just pass over the threads which sound "too good to be true".
Mrsdon, you have enough points. But, what's enough?

Sounds fantastic to me!!

I check the DVC resales weekly. I can't afford anymore points right now, but maybe some day in the future!;)

Boy, cgcw do I know what you mean-you learn dangerous things here. Like MB for BCV. I NEED more points I think!

I have used Pat Spell at the Timeshare Store and she is first rate.

Does anyone know why VB and HH took so long to sell out? I get the sense that they are very well received on these Boards? Yet Disney is discounting.

I tried to convince DH that we should add on, but he has convinced me that we can get a lot of enjoyment out of our 150 points. He wants us to plan Disney trips every other year and then on the opposite years we explore some of the other wonderful parts of our country.

I am beginning to think that 'points' are like food. And as someone who has to be careful not to over indulge when something really yummy is near by, I think I am going to have to learn discipline and restraint with regards to my love of Disney.

We banked our points last year, and this year we are enjoying a week in March (2 nights at HH and 3 at BCV) as well as a 3 day cruise in September for the four of us, all paid for through our points. Not bad for our 150 points (300 total since we banked last year's points). Next year we will probably bank our points because we are going to go to California for a week instead.

Sorry, this note is more for 'me' than anyone else. I need to start the "I have enough points" chant and really convince myself this is the right decision.

Just remember, for those of us dealing with the "addiction" of Disney and trying for discipline and restraint and not overindulging-as I tell my teenaged students all the time, there are far worse addictions than Disney! So it isn't that bad to be a
Disney addict (I remind them of that when they laugh at my Disney pins I'm always wearing).

LOL! You are right. If you have to have an addiction, this one isn't too bad. I think I am getting even more 'anxious' because our first trip home is in March and I am SOOOO excited about seeing BCVs!

I have stayed in a 2-bedroom during the off season - we loved it - very nice - I really love the fireplace in the 3-bedroom!
