Good morning MAYers.

How's everyone doing today?

Still thinking about and praying for you Sea.

Congrats on the PIN Lake!! :goodvibes I got yet another PIN yesterday! It's for 35% off any moderate good for Aug 9-18 and Aug 22-Oct 3. No thanks, I think I'll stick with FREE DINING!!

Morning-

Sea- praying for you all. let us know what else we can do for you. I know it's a tough time. Hang in there.

So this time tomorrow, I will be on the plane. I know it sounds stupid-- and very rotten of me, but I am not looking forward to going. I just am not excited about it at all. I know once I get there I will be okay- but I'm really nervous about the plane ride over and back and leaving the kids. It's just so far away.
The older I get the more I hate flying. I think I should have asked the Dr for some Xanax or something.

Today we are going to a local restaurant for my Uncle's Birthday party. They are known for their fresh seafood. I have been eating so much on this trip that I don't think I'll get anything but the steamed shrimp-- they are just off the shrimp boats in town and so good.

Shelly- did you plan a trip yet? Still see the ticker at 7 months...:rolleyes1

So I'll log on later to say bye-- but I hope everyone has a good day.

Sea--- stay strong, but let your friends there care for you. That's why they are there. Lean on them.

JO - Have a great trip! :goodvibes

I *might* be planning a trip. Ask me again after we get through the closings and get all moved. I will have a better idea then. I *may* have a new ticker before long that says something like 4 months!! :wizard:

Sea - My thoughts and prayers are with you today!

Lake and Shelly - I got the 35% offer. This is my first offer ever.

Jo - Have a great trip. Try to relax and enjoy it.

Hi to all the MAYers!

Hi Mayers - Thank you for all your kind words, thoughts and prayers for me and my family. You probably don't realize how much this means to me - it is huge. I am crushed, but I am at peace. My faith sustains me and gives me great hope and promise. Having friends like you by my side is great tremendous comfort, knowing that I have a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear.

We are planning a celebration of my mom's life in July at the church her dad built here in Santa Monica. We want it to be a joyous occasion and so we planning to do many special things that will honor her life.

So there you have it - that's the latest.

Take care,

Sea

I know it will be a very special celebration.
And how wonderful to be at the church your grandfather built..extra special.

We are all here for you, in what ever way we can!:grouphug:

Hi Sea. I've been thinking about you. I hope everyone is coping. We're here if you need us. :grouphug:

Hey all. :goodvibes

So, I'm thinking of starting WW again when we move. I'm a little nervous, but I know that it will be easier (well, as easy as losing weight can be ) when we are living alone again. My family eats terribly.
So, I think that I'll be able to do it! I am really getting excited for it. I know that when I did it last year - even though it was only for a few months - it really worked!

Good for you!!!!

So how is your packing coming along??? I'm down to 3 days away from getting the keys and 4 from the big move..CRAZYYYYYYYY!!!!

I am also excited about meeting my moving and packing mayers in PA.
So any further thoughts to where we are meeting... should we make an early dinner reservation at Station Square or a late lunch near Grove City??? so many possibilities.

I'm so excited for you!! My move isn't going as smoothly as I had hoped. I found out yesterday that while the appraisal company cashed my check less than 12 hours after they had it in their grubby little hands  - my appraisal has still not been done. And we were supposed to send over our commitment letter to the sellers on friday - as in LAST FRIDAY

There was a mistake made somewhere, by someone and it hasn't been done. I am supposed to close in a week and a half and I still don't know for sure that I can get my loan. :headache:

And as far as meeting someplace. It does not matter to me. Sorry to be indecisive. I guess it really depends if you are in the mood for shopping that day. I can do whatever.

What do your plans look like that weekend? Maybe we can figure out what the best day will be. :goodvibes

Yeah Lake, tell us your plans and then we will try to do whatever is best for you. . . I am still thinking that either the Outlet Mall or Station Square would be the best place for a meet! :goodvibes

Sea- my prayers and thoughts will be with you while I'm gone this week.

Lake- PD for a wonderful move.:wizard:

RF- hope everything works out for you with the appraisal.

Shelly- hope you get to use that pin.:)

NC, Sulley, MaRI, TAS- AND ALL OTHER MAYers everywhere----

:snooty:

I'm off.
I'll be back in a week!

Keep it all together while I'm gone. I know it will be quiet in here for you guys.

Greeting fellow movers and packers!!!!

RF- hang in there it will all work out... it did for me..and hopefully Shelly yours is all going smoother as well.

Pittsburgh here we come... okay so it's a month and some away, but I'm still happy and excited we'll all get to meet.

Let's see what is the plan.
Fri July 31...we will anxiously wait for Jason to get home and then jump in the car and make the 5 hour drive as far as Grove City and check into a hotel across from the outlet for the night. ( arrival around 10 pm I'd say)

Sat Aug 1- Wake up, eat breakfast, have a swim at the hotel pool...then do some serious outlet shopping for the morning and early afternoon.

Once we are done at the outlet, we had planned to head down into the city to Station Square for some dinner and to ride the D.Incline in the evening.

So to answer your questions...Sat Aug 1 is the day we would be free.
and a late lunch near the outlet or dinner at Station Square would be fine by me. If it's at Station Square we may need to make a reservation I guess since in total there would be 10 of us right.:woohoo:

:yay:Maybe we could all do that together dinner, see the dancing fountain and ride the incline... since its all pretty much in the same spot. And would help keep the kids entertained.

Sunday we are going to do things like the zoo, museums , and maybe the waterpark, and monday we'll have to start heading home..with of course a Target stop somewhere in there too.

So that's what I have planned so far!!! Any thoughts on it?

ok..back to:laundy: and packing... I may need someof those cows to get going!!! :lmao:

Thanks Jo!!!! I wish you a wonderful vacation!!! Wait haven't you been on vacation for like.....the entire month already!!!!!:lmao:

Sorry a little jealous I guess!

Can't wait to hear about it all.. and by the way was it hyman's you ate at for the dinner last night. All the locals raved about it when we were there.

I'm a little jealous too Lake. :guilty:

But I hope you have a fabulous trip Jo!!!! Have a Mai Thai for me!

Lake - Station Square works for me. Here's the link... If you look under 'Attractions' it shows all of the stuff that you can do down there, Just Ducky Tours, and The Gateway Clipper are boat tours around the city. All of the info about the incline and the fountains.

If you look under 'Guest Services' you'll see a link for all of the dining options. :goodvibes Pick whatever you like! I have been to most of them - if you have any questions let me know!
