I know, he is such a good kid. Not me, I was like - think of yourself, you have a soccer tournament this weekend and you don't want to be sick!! Well, technically that would be thinking of the team too, I should have put it to him like that!

I got a spray tan last night.

I did that last garage sale! Hid a few hundred $$ and told Mark we made less than we did.

B/c I looked at the menu for the restaurant...
and for a *modest* meal, I'm gonna be out about $95. So I'll be going hungry a lot this next week and have time to spare.

Nope. We post-poned it (again). I figured since we're leaving for vacation next Saturday, the garage sale this Saturday would have been too much for me to handle.

I'm such a wimp.

Oh yeah- and i have to paint my nails! I have to do my own in order to afford $25 parfaits this week.

Jo-June gloom has started a bit early...that means early morning haze and fog near the beaches - it usually burns off by 10 or 11 - this weekend expect it to be in the low 70's and sunny with some clouds, low 80's in the inland areas. Very pleasant weather!

Spray tan- yep. I think now that i have the hang of "get some lotion, put it on your hands, cover the soles of your feet, now stand here first, squat down a hair, press the green light, don't move, don't breathe, close your eyes, turn around, poke out your butt, turn right, turn left, be still, raise your arm, raise the other arm, now. Do it all again 4 mire times and you'll be done. oh yeah and don't get out in the middle of the process."

yep. Since I did everything they told me NOT to do-- I think I would indeed do it again. Only better this time.

Ah yes, Shelly...no internet access at the cottage.






But this year I have my iPod Touch! So I can walk around and find someone's wireless to "borrow" , or at the very worst, drive to the McDonald's and hook up for free there.

Needless to say, I won't be on much.

Okay my Lovely MAYers.

I'm gonna go ahead and say bye to you guys b/c I have to pick the kids up -- and it's gonna be a circus once i do. So I'm putting everything away now.

Hi Mayers,

Got the confirmation on some bad news a little while ago. My mother hasn't been feeling well the last few weeks. After undergoing a lot of tests, the doctors have confirmed that she has ovarian cancer. She is going to have surgery this Tuesday or Wednesday. At this time, it appears to be localized and treatable.

My mom is very positive, strong and is ready to fight and take every action possible to overcome this. She is not going to give up.

I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for my mom and our family during this time.
