Lake~YAY for your unexpected trip! I'm so excited for you! What a wonderful way to spend a few days at WDW! My BIL/SIL stayed at that Hilton a few years back (probably about 7 years ago now) and thought it was great.

RF~Your trip is coming so fast! Are you ready? Plans all made? Woo-hoo! Did you say a while back that you really liked the book, Pretty Little Liars? I can't remember if it was here or on FB...or if it was even you for sure. A little help, please? I need something new to read!

Mari~The TR is great! How fun that you got some special mother-daughter time at WDW. What could be better than that? When does school start again?

NC~Welcome home! And feel better. I can't wait to hear about the trip!

Sea~As always, to your trips and photo/video. Amazing. You make me really wish that I lived closer to a park! Or Hawaii, for that matter. Do you ever wish that your camera had more zoom? I need to get one before my trip and I know there are some with more zoom than yours has. Do you think more is overkill? Are there any disadvantages to having more? I don't want to have a full-sized camera (DSLR) so I know I have to watch the size vs. zoom capability. Thoughts?

Monny~Nice camper! I thought of you this weekend as I was digging stuff out from under the benches in our pop-up. I'm jealous! I haven't had time to look at your scrapbook pages yet, but I will do that. I need some more inspiration. I'm officially three years behind in mine again.

Thank you RF! I can't recommend this camera highly enough. Actually, virtually all the Canons I have owned, have been amazing.

I just bought a new Sony video camera for our trip - the CX 110. Shoots 1080p HD on to a SD memory card! We took it out to DLR this weekend the quality and sound is amazing. I will be putting up a sample video tonight.

Sea - I agree with Mari that I love the pics your camera is getting. I have a Canon that I LOVE, but it's getting older so I may have to upgrade soon. I also love the tilt shift setting. It's SO fun.

I can't remember, but wasn't it someone here that posted the 'day at the Magic Kingdom' and it was all done in the tilt shift setting?? I love that video! I watch it all the time!

Since I started this last thread, I feel the need to respond one last time before it is shut down. I asked the mods to shut it down this morning.

While we wait for that, let me say a few things.


As you have noticed, I have not posted for some time on this thread. Neither has Shelly. I know that you've noticed our absence, as some people have made references to people lurking.

The MAYers, as they were, are no more. You are kidding yourselves in believing that they are.

When someone --who shall not be named-- began the games that she did, Shelly informed you all of what was going on. Sides were chosen and being a true friend, I chose to believe the person I had known and trusted for years. Many of you did not and chose instead to believe lies that were being fed to you by someone you barely knew.
Yes of course they were lies-why don't you ask said person to tell you exactly what she has said about each and every one of you--- it is quite eye opening.

The last straw was of course the secretive trip to Cedar Point that was very hurtful to Shelly, since she was not asked to attend. She believed, as did I, that we were all friends. The post that followed the trip was very hurtful, obviously done in spite and not nice in general. That is when she left and has not been back.


I do not know if she has read the thread up to now. She unsubscribed to it and I'm sure she will not be to your new one. Neither will I.
It is unbelievable to me how you speak of kindness and caring on this thread and yet you treat a so called "friend" this way.

It is sad that someone who was not even a part of the true essence of this thread has been the one to tear it apart.
And every one of you knowingly and willingly let it happen.
